This tool will help you achieve work-life balance.
This is a web based application that shows you graphically what percentages of time you are spending on various areas you consider important. After you set up the areas of interest, this tool will be able to show you what kind of time you are spending in each of the target areas and if you are able to achieve any kind of balance. The tool is able to let you follow the amount of time you spend in eight important areas of life. These include Business, Finances, Health, Friends and Family, Relationships, Personal Growth, Hobbies and Entertainment. These can be renamed to represent the areas most important to you. You then set goals in each of the areas. For example goal in the health area could be to get slimmer. This graphical tool then helps keep track of achievement or otherwise very clearly.
The interface is simple. Most users should be able to get started right away and the display shows you very clearly what kind of time you are spending in each area. As far as achieving the targets are concerned, you could prioritize and work on the most important ones first. Then, there are goals that are short term and some that are long-term. This utility will help you maintain lists of such goals. For example, you could have global plans, this year`s plans, this month`s plans, etc. No hard and fast structure need to be assigned to lists. They can remain unstructured. Maintaining and updating the data is quite easy too. This is quite an unusual yet interesting application.
